About Us
Network Electric is owned and operated by Robert (Bob) Wallo, who is recognized throughout the desert communities as not just an electrician, but as a lighting artist.

Bob was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where he entered the Electrical Union as an apprentice when he was 18 years old. He quickly advanced through his journeyman rank to foreman and senior foreman, overseeing major commercial projects in the greater Buffalo area. After visiting California with his young family in 1977, Bob decided to head West and bring his talents to the desert area. He partnered with a small Union eletrical outfit for 7 years, then in 1984 he was approached by a respected and established local electrician, Fritz Blotter, to take over his independent business so that Blotter could retire knowing his clients were in good hands. Bob has been successfully running the business, now known as Network Electric, ever since, and has remained a stead-fast and reliable source for quality, specialized electrical services.

Throughout the years, Bob has been relied upon for his keen eye and special attention to detail, and has earned his reputation as the Desert Light Master. Bob has provided his quality workmanship and re-design skills on many vintage desert estates and private residences such as those belonging to Liberace, The Lucille Ball estate, Bob Hope, Suzanne Sommers, and Kirk Douglas. He has been repeatedly called upon to carefully illuminate the treasured Walter Annenberg private art collection. He has long worked side by side with respected interior designers, such as Jack Knox Interiors and Babcock Interiors to name a few, helping to bring their design visions literally to light on many a remodel or lightscape project. His work has expertly showcased fine art in numerous art galleries both downtown Palm Springs and on El Paseo. He and his wife have been long time parishoners at St. Theresa's Catholic Church where Bob has completed numerous lighting projects throughout the past 20 years. Bob has also been featured in Palm Springs Life Magazine.

Bob is a member of the Palm Springs H.O.G. (Harley Owners) Group and enjoys riding both his '95 Dyna Wide Glide around the desert and his '08 Ultra Classic on his excursions throughout the Western U.S. and Canada.
